Built for the Kitchen, Garden & Gatherings
The Harvsket — Handcrafted Wooden Harvest Basket
From garden to kitchen, made to work as hard as you do.
Handcrafted on our off-grid homestead, the Harvsket is a hardworking, beautifully made wooden harvest basket designed to follow your harvest from garden to kitchen, workshop or wherever the day takes you.
Whether you're gathering fresh vegetables, picking herbs and flowers, or carrying your daily harvest, the Harvsket is designed to make the job easier. Its open-slatted construction allows for excellent airflow and easy rinsing, so you can harvest, wash and store your produce in one basket without unnecessary handling or transferring.
Built with purpose. Made to last.
Every Harvsket is individually handcrafted from carefully selected hardwood timber, balancing strength, durability and manageable weight. Natural timber character and the hands-on making process give each basket its own unique character.
Finished with stainless steel hardware, the Harvsket is built with quality materials chosen for strength and long-lasting performance.
A standout feature is the mortise-and-tenon-style handle joint, a considered design that provides a strong, secure connection while allowing the basket to swing naturally as you walk. This combination of traditional joinery principles and practical functionality makes the Harvsket as thoughtfully constructed as it is useful.
Designed for the demands of a working garden and everyday homestead life, this is a basket made to be used, not simply admired.
A basket with a life beyond the garden
From freshly picked greens and root vegetables to herbs, flowers and everyday jobs around the homestead, the Harvsket is a versatile companion for seasons of gathering and carrying. Its timeless design makes it equally at home in the garden, kitchen or workshop.
A thoughtful gift for gardeners, growers and lovers of handmade goods, or an enduring staple for your own homestead.
Handcrafted with care. Designed with purpose. Made to grow with you.

Let’s be honest…
If you cook often like we do, everyday, multiple times a day, there is kids, you run a homestead, you know! The kitchen is this constant dynamic of chaos and order. Various activity that requires a turn over of working surface quite frequently. Everyday chores… Fond memories, milestones, all at once! It truly is the heart of any home.
We run quite few boards in our kitchen: one for our bread and one for the daily snack/fruit platter that we get throughout the work day and we have at least 3 chopping board in rotations. Between the raw meat, the cooked stuff, the vegetables, and the baking we like to keep them moving as it keeps them cleaned and ample time to dry up on the rack whilst not in use.
Having multiple boards of various size and type is just the simplest way to help keep the kitchen work tidy. We are happy to offer them with an adjusted price when ordered as a bundle. They probably share some bits of timber with one another so it’s always nice to know them moving in to the same house…
Our chopping board are all handmade in our homestead workshop and finished with 100% pure tung oil. Each one is unique and easy to care for and gentle on your knives.
Here are a few combinations to choose from. However if you want something that isn’t listed just get in touch we will sort out a very special package for you!
The colour choice of the boards can be done after checkout.
Refined. Practical and Durable
A true heirloom piece for any kitchen where every meal is treated like a feast.
The premium board for all kitchens. A butcher block can be used for any operation : chopping, cutting, carving, filleting, etc… There is nothing this board can’t handle! If you’re serious about cooking, homesteading or entertaining a butcher block is an essential addition to your kitchen tools.
Made of Australian hardwood, flattened to perfection. using the strongest part of the grain. It’s hand finished with a 100% pure tung oil, no additives. It simply is the best for your health and the planet.
Our point of difference is in design. Without compromising the function or strength, we have made the board much lighter than most traditional butcher block which can make them difficult to handle. Ours have got a recessed underside which provides 3 benefits :
provides room for medium or small ChopCut board to slide in and out and take your chopping to the stove or your pots without having to move the board,
reduces the weight by more than half,
provides good grabbing handles to move around.
